I have a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Brigham Young University.
I love to cook, and I really love to cook for others.
Then I like to run marathons (I’ve run three full) to work off aforementioned cooking. I figure it cancels out the butter.
I drink hot chocolate like it’s water. Year-round.
I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and after living and working in the midwest, I’m loving living back in my home state.
I’ve won two Emmy awards, three Edward R. Murrow Awards, and have been awarded best reporter in Utah by the Society of Professional Journalists twice.
I can bend my fingers backwards. It’s weird. If you meet me in person, I’ll be happy to demonstrate and gross you out.
I danced professionally as an NBA Cheerleader. Now my pom pom shaking is reserved for my 2-year-old’s eyes only.
People are my greatest inspiration. I’ve been so blessed to share amazing stories of strength, determination, loss, and courage, and I draw from people’s life experiences in design.
Being a wife and mother are truly my greatest joys in life.
I love finding interesting and personal ways to display family heirlooms and sentimental items, making a room truly one-of-a-kind.
